The matchup, part of the Jacksonville Hoops Showdown series, will bring two prominent college basketball programs to Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena for a preseason showcase ahead of the 2026-27 season. Widely regarded as the preseason No. 1 team in the country, the Gators will enter the season with championship expectations. Tickets will be available through a one-day presale beginning Tuesday, September 15, at 11:00 a.m. ET. The public on-sale begins Wednesday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m. ET.
